Brenda Starr in German Dirndl
Because.
The Ebay auction expired so here's the pictures and the griping :-)
I made it to enter it in the fair but took it the wrong day, so no fair, no ribbons, blah. Might as well list it on ebay instead. Money is cooler than ribbons, right?
Listing for $40 because my daughter wants it to play with. I wouldn't make another for less than $40. So if anybody buys it I'll make her another one.
I kind of don't want it to be this one because I'm so ticked off about taking it to the fair the wrong day after I worked on it for a whole week, I just don't want this one here any more. I don't want to see it any more. Oh, is that seller TMI?
Anyway here you go.
Cotton, has pretty stitching all over it with my cool new sewing machine (click for closeups), made with LOVE because I wanted a blasted RIBBON.
Fits Tyler Wentworth, here shown on Brenda Starr who has the same body. Doll and shoes not included, just the dress, blouse, underskirt and apron.
The underskirt isn't up to my usual standards as the kids were out in the van bouncing up and down while I finished it at the last minute on the wrong day for submitting things at the fair: the elastic waist is basically folded over and zigzagged. Don't look too closely at the underskirt and everything will be fine. The rest of it's meticulous, made for the fair judges so they would give me a RIBBON.
