Custom Dice

Dilbert:  Anyone can do any amount of work, provided it's not the work he or she was supposed to be doing  :-)

 

I spent about equal amounts of time studying the PHP code and making the custom die images. 

 

Here's the originals that came with the book.  It gets obvious after "rolling" a few times that they all have the same background. A die made from marble wouldn't be the same on every face. 

 

 

So I made my own!  You've seen these already...

 

 

Also made some others.  Once I had the spots sorted out, using a new background was easy. I used a graphic layer larger than the die and moved it a bit before saving each face image. 

 

 

Oops, too much fun, better stop now.

 

 

Here's the Photoshop file if you want to make your own dice!  You just add a graphic as the bottom layer and move it around a bit before saving each face image.
