Welcome!
What's new:
June 2010
Latest web design class, and here's the results. We all had to do a design for the League of Women Voters! The other client was my own choice
I know, my own redesign is desperately overdue! Believe me it's on my to-do list!March 2010
Adobe Flash class done! The results are here
The spiral dress pattern is available, along with the skirts, for free download. New spirals page with all those patterns organized with an overview. I finally tested skirt 2 and working on skirt 1
Here's a peasant dress I made, and free pattern for it (size medium only)

Added a Mailbag with pictures people have sent me. I love to see pictures of what you've made with my patterns!
December 2009
Check out the quilted potholders I made for Christmas presents and my quilt-as-you-go project, both using a similar technique of folding the backing over as binding
Done with math class! The Spiral Dress is done too
I've been getting requests for patterns for the original 1966 Barbie body. I thought that was covered by commercial patterns, but it would be fun to do one of my own. I'm thinking of a really simple skirt and top with a photo tut for beginners. In the meantime, please note the strapless pattern I have fits all three Barbie shapes!
September 2009
Did some egosurfing this morning. I guess lots of people like my free Barbie patterns but they are a pain to print. Finally took a moment, now the Barbie pattern's a pdf. Sorry about that, net folks :-)
I was kinda delaying because I had big ambitions of lots of improvements and new pictures, but I wasn't getting any time to do that. Math class starts again next week *Jaws theme*
August 2009
Made the Gene princess pattern into a pdf. At least it should print the right size now. I'd love to get your feedback about how it works out for you
Working on spiral skirts for Ladies, Girls and Barbie

May 2009
I'm between classes right now. Very relieved that math class is over! I'm checking items off my to-do list one at a time. One of the items was to get rid of the snow theme and the picture of me in the winter coat (*checks that box*) but still the to-do list is almost as long as War and Peace!
The newest stuff consists of the assignments from PHP class that I just finished. Warning, it's a bit bright! Me and the pixels again
Here's the Barbie strapless bodice pattern, back again after an unexplained disappearance. It's in pdf form which means no more figuring out how to print it the right size. I'm going to go back and do the others that way too. It's on my to-do list...
And the excellent story of how I came by a new Pfaff sewing machine.

Here's the link to the delicious recipe I was talking about for Curried Turkey Vegetable Soup. It's chopping and stirring-intensive but worth it.
